UHCL's College of Business ranked among best in U.S., says resource

University of Houston-Clear Lake's College of Business has been ranked among University HQ's Best 55 Business Schools and Colleges in the U.S. University HQ, a leading independent education organization, provides students with the necessary resources to make more informed choices as they pursue higher education.

"Rankings like this reflect the College of Business's commitment to student success and their lifelong learning," said College of Business Dean Edward Waller. "The college's business and separate accounting accreditation from AACSB International also reflects the exceptional dedication of our students, faculty, and staff since the college is only one of 190 schools worldwide to have both accreditations."

University HQ's ranking methodology is based on a college's admission and retention rates, as well as other objective, unbiased information using reliable government sources to help students set reasonable expectations, discover the outstanding schools in their area of interest, and make more informed decisions as they embark on their academic and career paths. Each ranked college is assessed using the same data, so that all comparisons are consistent.

Other ranking factors include tuition, number of programs offered, graduating salary, percentage of students receiving financial aid, and number of diplomas awarded.

UH-Clear Lake's College of Business is an accredited member of the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business. It is among the 1% of the world's business colleges that also has the AACSB Accounting accreditation. Learn more about the College of Business online.
