UHCL posts statement about 2019 Novel Coronavirus

University of Houston-Clear Lake keeps the health and well-being of our campus community a top priority and is closely monitoring the emerging outbreak of the 2019 Novel Coronavirus, or 2019-nCoV. For more information, visit Health Services.

Regina Pickett, UH-Clear Lake's director of Student Health Services, on behalf of university administrators, created the following message to alert students to the Novel Coronavirus or 2019-nCoV:

"If you are a student who has been traveling abroad and cannot make it to class, contact your professor so that accommodations may be explored. If you need assistance, you may contact the Dean of Students by emailing deanofstudents@uhcl.edu."

Health Services staff will answer any questions that anyone might have about the virus. The office is located on the first floor of the Student Services and Classroom Building, 1.1301. You may also access them by calling 281-283-2626 or emailing healthservices@uhcl.edu.
