UHCL at Pearland employee selected for Leadership Pearland

UHCL Pearland Campus Coordinator Corina K. Morales has been selected for the 2022-23 Class of Leadership Pearland. 

Leadership Pearland, sponsored by the Pearland Chamber of Commerce, identifies talented and committed citizens who aspire to provide leadership in Pearland’s business and community activities. The series of 11 sessions from September to June teaches participants about Pearland’s governmental, educational, economic, and cultural organizations, and encourages future leaders to explore options for personal involvement and relationship building. Each session is led by a local professional in the field.  The program culminates with a graduation celebration, then facilitates appointments of graduates into leadership roles within the Pearland Chamber of Commerce and other community organizations.

Morales was named the UHCL Pearland campus coordinator in August 2021.  Prior to coming to UHCL-P, she served as the community relations specialist in the Office of Governmental Affairs at the University of Houston System for five years. She holds a BBA from the University of Houston and an MBA from UH-Downtown.
