Free COVID-19 vaccines, testing available at UH-Clear Lake

To support the health and safety of the community, University of Houston-Clear Lake is partnering with Curative to offer free COVID-19 PCR testing and vaccines in Clear Lake.

Both services are available at the Delta Building of the university's Bay Area Boulevard location, and are available for students, faculty, staff, and the public. Testing is offered at an outdoor kiosk and vaccines are offered indoors.

Curative, a public health service startup, partners with communities to offer rapid, mass-scale testing and vaccinations for COVID-19 and other essential services. At UHCL, they will offer oral-fluid swab testing — an alternative method to nasopharyngeal or brain swabs in testing for COVID-19. The Curative sample collection process can be viewed online.

Test results are available within 1-2 days. Second vaccine doses, if applicable, are available with proof of vaccination card.

No appointment is required for either testing or vaccines, but pre-registration is available online. Get full details, including service times, parking, pre-registration and more for on-campus COVID-19 vaccinations and COVID-19 testing online.
